I regret that I will miss the Anaheim shows this year on mischief nght and Halloween as I will be in Japan but hope others will post their experiences! Happy Halloween and Tiger Army Never Die!!!

In a new blog post on myspace Nick 13 announced:

"Hello everyone!  I've been quiet here lately but busy preparing to launch the country solo project and also preparing for Tiger Army's only shows of the year, Octoberflame 2009!

For those of you who were unable to tune in to my radio appearance on Loveline, I announced that the country solo project will make its live debut in a guest appearance at Octoberflame, a few new songs will be played live for the first time anywhere!

Speaking of live appearances, Nick 13 (the solo project) will perform at the Stagecoach festival next April on the Palamino stage with such legends as Merle Haggard and Ray Price!  I?m very excited about this!  We will have a release next year and we will tour in support of it!

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR TIGER ARMY ? Tiger Army is NOT breaking up, but much of 2010 will be devoted to the recording and touring for n13 solo, so DON?T miss Octoberflame, IT WILL BE YOUR LAST CHANCE to see TA for quite some time!  No touring is planned for Tiger Army for 2010.  If you?ve been thinking about traveling to Octoberflame, do it!

We?ve slaved away in the practice room so that we can play a different set every night!  For example, you will hear TWELVE different songs on Saturday night than on Friday night, including songs we haven?t played live in years or have NEVER played!

One week from tomorrow will be the first of the 4 2009 OCtoberflame shows - your only chance to see Tiger Army for 2009 (and very possibly 2010!).

On Friday October 23th catch them at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA with Combichrist and The Creepshow opening. The next night, Saturday October 24th the openers will be The Peacocks and Miss Derringer.

Then on Mischief Night, October 30th, Tiger Army will play at the Grove in Anaheim, CA with 45 Grave and Brigette Handley and the Dark Shadows and finally on HALLOWEEN, October 31st, they'll finish out at the grove with openers and the Milwaukee Wildmen. Tiger Army is proud to announce the second annual Octoberflame festival! Like 2008, the shows will take place at the end of October, including Halloween night, but unlike 2008 the shows take place in Orange County AND Los Angeles! Tiger Army will be supported by top acts handpicked by Tiger Army's Nick 13, including .45 Grave, Milwaukee Wildmen and more, with new guests being announced right up until October!

As most of 2009 has been earmarked for the writing and recording of a Nick 13 solo album that focuses on country/roots/rockabilly, these shows are the ONLY planned Tiger Army shows for the entire year!

Nick 13 says "In ancient times this point on the calendar marked the end of the harvest, a time of celebration of the past and contemplation of the future. That's what Octoberflame is about, it's also a recognition of all those people who've supported the music that we've dedicated our lives to."

Tickets go onsale to the general public on Friday, June 5th at Ticketmaster.com at 10am! Tickets will be available at this time at the venue box offices, a good way to save on ticketing fees.

Keep an eye out for a presale password sent via Tiger Army's myspace bulletin -(subscribe at www.myspace.com/tigerarmy)- there will be a special internet presale that begins THIS Wednesday, June 3rd, at 10am Pacific and ends at 10pm! Check out the tourdates page for links to the ticket sales!.

Scheduled now are shows in Los Angeles, CA at the Wiltern Friday October 23 and in Anaheim, CA at the Grove on Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31 - HALLOWEEN! I just got a chance to post a gallery of photos from the recent show at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV in April 11, 2009 - please click here to see the new photos!

The show was awesome and included a tribute to the great Lux Interior (R.I.P.) where they covered the Cramps classic "Some New Kind of Kick" with Geoff on electric bass! Nick 13 also hinted that another OCtoberflame may be in the works for 2009 in Orange County AND LA this time, I'll post any news as I hear it!

Tiger Army will take the stage this April in Las Vegas for the first time since OCtoberflame! Don't miss Tiger Army on Saturday, April 11th at the House of Blues / Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada!

There will be an online presale that starts THIS TUESDAY, Feb. 17th @ 10AM Pacific Standard Time, a bulletin will be sent to Tiger Army's MySpace friends on Monday the 16th with the password and info! Tickets go onsale to the general public Friday Feb. 20th at 10am PST at Ticketmaster. Tickets will also be available at the HOB Vegas box office for no service charge starting the 20th.

Tiger Army will have the honor of being supported by British psychobilly legends FRENZY, opening the show are Santa Cruz psychobillies Stellar Corpses. Check out more on the Stellar Corpses at www.stellarcorpses.com.

The main focus for this year is the Nick 13 solo country project -- which means that THIS is the only Tiger Army show on the horizon anywhere in the world at the present time, so don't miss it!

Tiger Army is filming all the OCtoberflame shows for an upcoming documentary that will also focus on the fans. They have a cameraman looking to videotape interviews with fans in line - he's REALLY appreciate it if folks interested in being on the DVD come early to the line as he'd love a chance to shoot them before the sun goes down & he has better lighting, between 4:30-5:30 would be ideal If you've got an TA tattoos all the better!

Tiger Army starts their special 5 night OCtoberflame shows tomorrow at The Grove of Anaheim - I think some tix are still available so check the Grove's site, there are different openers every night and TA promise to change the setlist around & play unique songs every night including some that have never been played live. And former Tiger Army drummer Adam Carson now in AFI will be rejoining them for one-night-only on October 26! Check the tourdates page for more info!

I'll be traveling out for all 5 shows & celebrate my 100th Tiger Army show on Halloween! Its been a wonderful crazy five years for me!

A special announcement regarding the fourth OCtoberflame show that takes place at the Grove of Anaheim on Sunday, October 26th! Adam Carson, drummer of AFI and original drummer of Tiger Army will rejoin the band for one night only to perform a special set comprised exclusively of songs from his time with the band! Don't miss this very special show, you won't see this again anytime soon! By the way, October 26th marks the nine-year anniversary of the first album's release!

Tiger Army is proud to announce OCtoberflame 2008, set to take place over five nights at The Grove of Anaheim in Orange County, California!

The inaugural edition of the Tiger Army-curated festival will feature Tiger Army headlining each night -- each set will be unique, featuring at least a few songs that are ONLY played on that particular night!

Tiger Army will be supported by top acts handpicked by Tiger Army's Nick 13, including VNV NATION, THE QUAKES, T.S.O.L., GUANA BATZ, SAID RADIO (ex-Nerve Agents), and many more!

A very limited number (250) of discounted VIP packages will be available to anyone who purchases tickets to all five shows in advance -- the package includes a meet-and-greet with Tiger Army after the last show, Halloween night!

This very special event is a celebration of Tiger Army's fans that will mark the final shows of this year & the conclusion of touring for the latest album Music From Regions Beyond. The shows are exclusive Southern California appearances (meaning, if you're waiting for the band to come back to Hollywood or San Diego anytime soon, or anywhere else that's not currently on our show listings for that matter -- don't)!

At the Musink Tattoo festival it was announced that Tiger Army and Mike Ness will co-headline the 2008 Hootenanny Festival at Oak Canyon Ranch in Irvine, CA on July 5th! Also appearing will be the Guana Batz, Throw Rag, James Intveld and more. Keep checking their website at www.thehootenanny.com for further information.

Just announced on the official site: Geoff Kresge has returned as the stand-up bassist for Tiger Army - this is a name that will no doubt be familiar to Tiger Army fans, Kresge performed all live shows with the band from 1999 to mid-2004, as well as performing on the band's second and third albums. Jeff Roffredo has left the band as a friend, to pursue other interests. Kresge says, "I don't think people understand what a difficult decision it was for me to make when I left the band in late 2004, or that it may or may not have been for the reasons that the fans have heard or read about. Being given the opportunity to rejoin the band is an exciting prospect!" Nick 13, Geoff Kresge and James Meza hit the road this week in the USA, check out Tourdates page for ticket links and all other info.
